I’m Dan. This is my website.

I am a Prius-driving, vegan, liberal, atheist (anti-theist). I am basically the most awesome cliché ever. I’m also a geek. I work in IT. I enjoy playing guitar and singing. Someday I hope to own my own organic vegan restaurant. I have 3 cats and a dachshund/great dane mix puppy.

The name of this site (pzer0) is a shortening of Placeholder Zero. I like the idea of something having no value on its own, but being required in order for a system to have its desired value. I view this as a fitting metaphor for how most people (including myself) fit in to society. That is not to say that we hold no value as individuals– quite the contrary! When you view society as a whole the individual parts seem insignificant, but without them everything falls apart.
